Annual Fund Letter 2026-2027
Dear Ascension Episcopal School Family,
We are Clay and Nicole Ebner, and it is our honor to serve as this year’s Annual Fund sponsors. Our son, Carson, is currently enrolled and thriving in kindergarten, and our daughter, Callie, is making her mark in the Pre-Toddler class. We saw the potential from the first days of having Carson enrolled in the infant room, and we are proud to be a part of the growth for this school. The love and care that has been shown to our children is something we truly admire about the team at Ascension. During our search for a “daycare” before our first child, I don’t think either of us could have imagined getting so immersed in such a wonderful place to call home.
The sense of fellowship at Ascension is what drove the first AESOP group to be created in 2021 when our son started, and what inspired the creation of the Dad’s Club in 2025. We want this place to foster relationships that last a lifetime, for parents and kids alike.
As many of us have witnessed and experienced, this school has gone through some transformative events in the last year, and we are proud to be on the ground building a brighter future for our children and extended family at Ascension. Such examples can be seen by our renovated playgrounds with new kiddie mulch, fresh turf across three outdoor play areas, and a putting green. If you haven’t seen the revamp yet, take a walk across campus and take a look! Also – a big thanks to the families who volunteered their time, labor, and extensive amount of sweat to make this possible!
This year, we are focusing on the classroom. Our tuition covers the essentials to keep the lights on and cover the day-to-day needs of running an excellent school. The Annual fund is what takes a good education into an extraordinary one. Now, in the 55th year, we are asking our families to invest in the Annual Fund for what is most crucial: our classrooms. Our goal is to thoughtfully place more technology and STEM equipment in the hands of our teachers. They need tools that help them deliver rich, high-quality lessons, and to expand the exploration in our classrooms, sparking curiosity and hands-on discovery for every student. We want our children to have the resources to explore, question, build, and create, so they’re prepared not just for the next grade, but for the world they will one day lead.
While we uniquely understand that it is no small ask, our goal is to get 100% participation from every family in this community. No gift is too small, and any extended family (especially grandparents), friends, and businesses are welcome!
