HPD Officer C. Engelhardt visits!

HPD Senior Police Officer Christopher Engelhardt from the Houston Police Westside Division visited Ascension today and taught us some valuable lessons on safety. Our PreK students learned that a stranger is someone you don't know and to go tell an adult when a stranger is talking to you. Officer Chris showed us his tools that he uses for work.

We got to see inside of a police car and hear the sirens- what a day! Each student got to sit in the car. The students loved it! Thank you Houston Police Department for all that you do! Thank you for putting smiles on our faces, Officer Engelhardt!

Here is an AWESOME video you can show your kids and students about Stranger Danger that was created by police officers!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrbwtcfCbVM
