21st century learning exists to help each child communicate, collaborate, and exercise creativity and critical thinking while both consuming and producing content that connects them with their world in ways that are personally meaningful and relevant. 

Our approach marries content to skill. Without skills, students are left to memorize facts, recall details for worksheets, and regulate their educational experience to passivity. Without content, students may engage in problem-solving or team-working experiences that fall into triviality, relevance without rigor. Instead, our paradigm offers an opportunity to synergize the margins of the content vs. skills debate!  

Embracing our investigation-based learning model shifts our ultimate focus to creating learners who take intellectual risks, create teachers who foster learning dispositions, and create communities where everyone is a lifelong learner!
